About Girasol Services

Girasol Services is the brain-child of Laura Garcia, a fully qualified Spanish Lawyer who studied at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid before completing a Master's degree in Business Legal Advice at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid followed by a further Master's Degree at the University of Sussex near Brighton.

Laura has been a member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid since 1992 and practiced law in Spain for 5 years before moving to the UK. She is also a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.

Since moving to England, Laura worked for 5 years on elements of the Consumer Credit Act for a major British Bank.

She started Girasol Services because of the large volume of queries she has been asked to deal with concerning Spanish property and Timeshare Law.

We have a thorough understanding of the purchaser’s problems when buying a property in Spain.

Our approach is to communicate with our clients in plain English, to help them overcome the difficulties of dealing in a different language with an unfamiliar legal system so that the process becomes as transparent and stress free as we can make it.
